Big things are happening here at Energy Futures Group! We’re excited to announce the addition of a new team member and the promotion of two of our employees.
EFG welcomes to our team David Hill as a Managing Consultant. David comes to us after 22 years at VEIC, where he most recently served as the Director of Distributed Resources. David has been the principal investigator and has led analysis teams for multi-year stakeholder informed studies on solar market and decarbonization pathways and scenarios. Here at EFG, David will be leading and supporting efforts to plan, analyze, model and move clean energy policies and programs forward.
We are also pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Mellinger to Principal at EFG. Dan started at EFG in 2017 as a Senior Consultant following thirteen years at VEIC. During his time with EFG, Dan has supported a diverse set of clients throughout the U.S. and has made significant contributions toward industry standards, provided expertise on program designs, published several groundbreaking research reports, and has worked to maximize energy efficiency in numerous plan proceedings. Dan will continue to serve his clients with his expertise in lighting technologies and C&I energy efficiency programs.
Finally, Chelsea Hotaling has been promoted to Senior Analyst. Chelsea has been with EFG as an Analyst since 2019, and prior to that with Sommer Energy, following the completion of her master’s degree in data analytics and environmental policy. She has grown her expertise in EnCompass modeling and will continue to apply these skills on her work with IRP models.
