New Mexico Public Regulation Commission Approves Recommended Portfolio

The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission recently approved Coalition for Clean Affordable Energy’s (CCAE) recommended portfolio of solar, battery storage, and demand response to replace Public Service Company of New Mexico’s retiring San Juan coal plant capacity.  EFG provided expert testimony describing EFG’s EnCompass modeling of CCAE’s recommended portfolio.  EFG’s work was part of a coalition of partners including Applied Economics Clinic, GridLab, Michael Milligan, Mihir Desu, Southwest Energy Efficiency Project, Strategen, and Telos Energy.  We were honored to be a part of this talented group of collaborators.
